Wikipedia mówi: Aggressive mimics are predators which resemble ants sufficiently to be able to approach their prey successfully. Some spiders, such as the Zodariidae and Myrmarachne species including Myrmarachne melanotarsa, use their disguise to hunt ants.
Nie tylko wyglądają , również pachną: A few spiders not only look like ants but smell like them as well. These spiders are such good mimics that they trick not only animals that eat ants but they trick the ants as well.

To tak nie działa, bo mrówki identyfikują wielkościami i feremonami. Te pająki ukrywają się przed drapieżnikami, które boją się na mrówy polować
